Embarrassingly, my last post was more than a month ago (what a dosser, I know). I had a lot of illustration pieces and story boarding stuff at work so my “sketch-a-day was somehow covered :3 So to compensate for my excuses, here’s a step-by-step of my year-ender piece (which I will hopefully finish tomorrow) hehehehe
1. Just sketch like crazy! haha. Don’t mind the details yet, just lay down your pose and minor proportion
2. You can now add basic details and improve your proportions while cleaning your lines
3. Add flat colors to your drawing (better if under your outlines) just to plan what your palette will be
4. Here is the part where you add volume, tones, highlights and shadows. Of course there are still changes to your proportions and details here
5. Drop by again tomorrow! :D
